The candidate will work in a global context environment, on local and global programs, closely with release teams and other functional groups; he/she will own all marketing aspects of an expanded product portfolio, providing end-to-end product solutions from wool to treated yarn. The Marketing Manager will be pivotal in driving sales growth and strengthening the brand's presence in western markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow wool yarn sales across Europe and the Middle East, leveraging competitive advantages of new dyed and treated product offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, distributors, and textile mills to ensure high levels of satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
Identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding both direct sales and agent networks within key European and Middle Eastern markets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted promotional materials, position the brand effectively, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Oversee key accounts, aligning sales efforts with customer needs, ensuring on-time delivery, and managing stock services for European customers.
Develop competitive pricing strategies, lead contract negotiations, and regularly assess pricing to reflect market conditions and profitability goals.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic adjustments and report insights to senior management.
Work with production, quality, and supply chain teams to meet customer specifications and delivery schedules, while coordinating with the R&D and marketing teams for new product innovations.
Set and achieve regional sales targets, with a focus on continuous improvement and regular performance reviews with senior leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years in textile or wool yarn sales and marketing, with demonstrated success in European B2B markets and Tender Business.
In-depth understanding of the wool yarn industry, particularly in treatment processes.
Strong knowledge of the European textile market, including industry regulations, customer preferences, and market trends.
Established network within European textile brands, distributors, and agents; ability to leverage these connections to grow the business.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills;
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Fluent in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
